Clubs & Happenings

French Club:

There will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday after school.  All members must attend.

 

 

History Honor Society/Student Council:

On Thursday there will be a meeting of History Honor Society and Student Council immediately after school in Room A202. Students who have signed up or would like to sign up MUST attend. We will be electing Officers and issuing passes for Club Pictures. Refreshments will be served. Come check us out!!! Any questions please see Mrs. Pallitto.

 

National Honor Society:

Your poinsettia money is due this Thursday, 12/4.  Please collect your money and turn it into Mrs. Morgan.

 

Rebel:

We will take group pictures after school on Wednesday at 2:40 in the library.  Please be on time.

General Information

Starting December 2nd thru December 10th - During your lunch period sign up to audition for The Wiz (Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion – Only) will be take by the School Base staff.  Look for flyers for audition dates and times.

 

There will be a dress down day this Friday, December 5th for students only.  The colors are winter luau – bright greens, pinks, yellows, etc.  The cost is $2.00 in advance $3.00 at the door.  Please see Mrs. Morgan in C102 for your tickets.

 

Staff:

If you have planned to participate in the winter concert, please see Mrs. Hughes after school on Wednesday December 3rd.

 

Students are permitted to bring or possess cellular telephones on school property; however, all cellular telephones, flip phones, and any other mobile communication device must be turned off during regular school hours (7:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M.) and may not be used in the building.  Cell phones are not to be visible.  They are to be kept in lockers or out of sight.  Failure to comply will result in the device being confiscated.  Additionally, failure to surrender your electronic device will result in disciplinary action.

 

Beginning Tuesday, October 14, 2008, the ONLY hoodies that will be acceptable at the high school are plain burgundy hoodies and burgundy & black hoodies with the Pleasantville logo. Additionally, any school affiliated logos are acceptable also.  For example, students may wear hoodies with the REBEL logo on them or other clubs, which will express school pride.  Any other designer logos, such as Sean John, Aeropostale, Hollister, 1987, DKNY, AERO, and etc are not acceptable.

Attention Students:

Attention 12th graders, SAT registration info is available in your counselor’s office.  Please stop in to register online and receive practice books.

 

Sports

Swim Team:

Congratulations to Gil de los Santos winning the 200 free against Buena on Monday night.  Congratulations to Johan de los Santos on placing 2nd in the 100 free style.
