Technology service request

In the ongoing effort to improve both the user experience and the responsiveness of the IT department we have implemented a feature that permits you to submit your Computer/Technology repair requests directly to the IT department.

You simply go to the PPS webpage and click on the “Repair Request”  button/link at the bottom of the webpage under "Quick Links". The system will log you in as the same user who is logged into the computer. If your computer is down and you must use someone else’s, please make sure you are logged in so the correct information is sent.

Complete the form as best as possible and submit it.

Your request will go directly to the IT department. You will receive email updates as the request is processed and you can always go into the Technology Repair Request " link to check the status of the request.

Hopefully this will increase response time as well as keeping you informed of what has been done and when the job is completed in the system.

We will be working strictly from this work order system. This will increase the accountability on both the technician and the end user’s part. Please do not stop technicians in the hall or relay your request directly to them as there will be no documentation of the request.

Please remember, it’s always a good idea, to discuss the problem with your building Lead Technology Teacher as problems can often be addressed without needing an IT Technician.

* Please submit a "Request for Technology" form to the Director for approval of ALL technology equipment.*

Pleasantville migrates to Gmail email.

The Pleasantville school district has been migrated to the Gmail e-mail system. The new method to access your email is logging into mail.google.com . A link for this is on the district webpage. We no longer use Outlook Client. If you need assistance using your new Gmail account, please see your building technology coordinator. Please note that your username and password are the same as your district login information. Your username must have the @ pps-nj.us at the end of it.
